| Excellent position, just a short romp to San Marco. The room was of a decent size. The Metropole has its own water taxi stop. Room included a balcony. Staff were always willing to help. Breakfast was a standard Italian; fruit salad, fresh breads, coffee, cold meets and cheese. | |

Exceptional service and top location |

| An excellent hotel with good service. It is perfect distance to Piazza San Marco. Our room was big with a roof top terrace, king sized 4-poster-bed, bathrobes and heated towels. Room service was exceptional as they would get things that weren't on the menu and at all times of the day. | |
