the hotel is open from february to the end of november, and is situated in a central and yet quiet position in venezia lido, one of the most popular and elegant beaches of italy. only 5 minutes from venice, the isle is linked by four efficient ferry boat services, working by night too. you can also reach the lido di venezia easily by car, thanks to the ferry boats that offer the pleasure of boating through the lagoon. from the airport its easy to catch a shuttle boat to reach the place. the hotel has been recently restructured and offers its customers 42 rooms, in three floors, connected by a lift. the rooms are very tastefully furnished according to a modern style, balcony in most. they all have a bathroom and shower, air conditioning, direct dial phone, and satellite tv.

The hotel is on Lido island, but only a few minutes walk to the water bus stop which takes you to San Marco in 15 minutes. We liked the fact we could walk 10 minutes to the beach, and thus combine a beach and city break! The hotel is very clean, with murano glass fixtures. Our room was adequate with a nice balcony. Breakfast was basic, but I guess this reflects the unbelievable value of Hotel Rigel.
